What to know

What is included with the TapPay device?
You receive a secure, preconfigured device from Creasoft, locked against rewriting and supplied in an enclosure with instructions. It opens your business payment page on the customer’s phone. Management, reports and the notification app are included, with no TapPay subscription.
How can I accept card payments without a bank POS?
Creasoft manufactures and supplies TapPay, an alternative to a bank POS for sales, donations and, with MDB telemetry, vending. Customers pay from their own phones through NETOPIA using Apple Pay, Google Pay or their card details.
Does the customer tap a physical bank card on the device?
The customer taps their phone, then pays on the page that opens. TapPay does not read a physical contactless bank card. Customers confirm with Apple Pay, Google Pay or by entering their card details.
Does the customer need an app?
No. They need an NFC-compatible phone and internet access. The TapPay notification app is for you and your team. Apple Pay and Google Pay availability depends on the phone and card used.
Where do the funds go and when do I see confirmation?
NETOPIA settles funds to your business bank account according to your processing agreement. Your TapPay app receives payment notifications in real time. Payment confirmation and bank settlement are separate steps.
Is there a subscription or fixed transaction fee?
There is no TapPay subscription. NETOPIA charges 1.7% of each payment, with no fixed per-transaction component for merchants enrolled through TapPay. Vending GSM connectivity is paid once for the included 5-year period.
Do I need my own website?
The payment page is prepared as part of TapPay. You do not need to build an online store for this payment flow. Before activation, we establish your business details and complete the required NETOPIA onboarding.
How do I order and start accepting payments?
Contact Creasoft with your intended use and number of devices. For vending, we check MDB compatibility. After NETOPIA onboarding, we prepare the devices and verify the payment flow.
